But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him away from among the king’s sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in the __a__FOOTNOTE__a__ 2 Chronicles 22:11 Or, chamber for the beds __b__FOOTNOTE__b__ bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest (for she was the sister of Ahaziah), hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.

But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, secretly took Joash, the son of Ahaziah, away from among the king's sons who were put to death, and put him and the woman who took care of him in a bedroom. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of King Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest and sister of Ahaziah, kept him safe from Athaliah, so that she did not put him to death.

But Jehoshabeath the daughter of the king took Joash the son of Ahaziah and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in the bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest (for she was the sister of Ahaziah), hid him from Athaliah, so that she did not slay him;

But Josabeth the king's daughter took Joas the son of Ochozias, and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain. And she hid him with his nurse in a bedchamber: now Josabeth that hid him, was daughter of king Joram, wife of Joiada the high priest, and sister of Ochozias, and therefore Athalia did not kill him.

But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him away from among the king's sons who were slain, and put him and his nurse in the bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest (for she was the sister of Ahaziah), hid him from Athaliah, so that she didn't kill him.

And Jehoshabeath daughter of the king taketh Joash son of Ahaziah, and stealeth him from the midst of the sons of the king who are put to death, and putteth him and his nurse into the inner part of the bed-chambers, and Jehoshabeath daughter of king Jehoram, wife of Jehoiada the priest, because she hath been sister of Ahaziah, hideth him from the face of Athaliah, and she hath not put him to death.

Mais Josabeth, fille du roi, prit Joas, fils d’Ochosias, et l’enleva du milieu des fils du roi, que l’on massacrait; et elle le mit avec sa nourrice dans la chambre des lits. Ainsi Jehoshabhath, fille du roi Joram, femme de Jehoïada, le sacrificateur, le cacha de devant Athalie, car elle était soeur d'Achazia; et Athalie ne le mit pas à mort.

Mais Joschabeath, fille du roi, prit Joas, fils d'Achazia, et l'enleva du milieu des fils du roi, quand on les fit mourir: elle le mit avec sa nourrice dans la chambre des lits. Ainsi Joschabeath, fille du roi Joram, femme du sacrificateur Jehojada, et soeur d'Achazia, le déroba aux regards d'Athalie, qui ne le fit point mourir.

Aber Josabeath, des Königs Schwester, nahm Joas, den Sohn Ahasjas, und stahl ihn unter den Kindern des Königs, die getötet wurden, und tat ihn mit seiner Amme in eine Schlafkammer. Also verbarg ihn Josabeath, die Tochter des Königs Joram, des Priesters Jojada Weib (denn sie war Ahasjas Schwester) vor Athalja, daß er nicht getötet ward.

Aber Josabeath, die Königstochter, nahm Joas, den Sohn Ahasjas, und stahl ihn unter den Kindern des Königs, die getötet wurden, und tat ihn mit seiner Amme in die Bettkammer. Also verbarg ihn Josabeath, die Tochter des Königs Joram, des Priesters Jojada Weib (denn sie war Ahasjas Schwester), vor Athalja, daß er nicht getötet ward.

καὶ ἔλαβεν ιωσαβεθ ἡ θυγάτηρ τοῦ βασιλέως τὸν ιωας υἱὸν οχοζια καὶ ἔκλεψεν αὐτὸν ἐκ μέσου υἱῶν τοῦ βασιλέως τῶν θανατουμένων καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὸν καὶ τὴν τροφὸν αὐτοῦ εἰς ταμίειον τῶν κλινῶν καὶ ἔκρυψεν αὐτὸν ιωσαβεθ θυγάτηρ τοῦ βασιλέως ιωραμ ἀδελφὴ οχοζιου γυνὴ ιωδαε τοῦ ἱερέως καὶ ἔκρυψεν αὐτὸν ἀπὸ προσώπου γοθολιας καὶ οὐκ ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτόν

וַתִּקַּח יְהוֹשַׁבְעַת בַּת־הַמֶּלֶךְ אֶת־יוֹאָשׁ בֶּן־אֲחַזְיָהוּ וַתִּגְנֹב אֹתוֹ מִתּוֹךְ בְּנֵי־הַמֶּלֶךְ הַמּוּמָתִים וַתִּתֵּן אֹתוֹ וְאֶת־מֵינִקְתּוֹ בַּחֲדַר הַמִּטּוֹת וַתַּסְתִּירֵהוּ יְהוֹשַׁבְעַת בַּת־הַמֶּלֶךְ יְהוֹרָם אֵשֶׁת יְהוֹיָדָע הַכֹּהֵן כִּי הִיא הָיְתָה אֲחוֹת אֲחַזְיָהוּ מִפְּנֵי עֲתַלְיָהוּ וְלֹא הֱמִיתָתְהוּ׃ ‬

Ma Iosabat, figliuola del re Gioram, prese Gioas, figliuolo di Achazia, e lo tolse furtivamente d’infra i figliuoli del re che si uccidevano; e lo mise, con la sua balia, nella camera de’ letti. Così Iosabat, figliuola del re Gioram, moglie del sacerdote Gioiada, lo nascose d’innanzi ad Atalia; perciocchè era sorella di Achazia; talchè Atalia non lo fece morire.

Zatem wywiedli syna królewskiego, i włożyli naó koronę i świadectwo, a postanowili go królem; i pomazali go Jojada i synowie jego, i mówili: Niech żyje król!

Porém Jeosabeate, filha do rei, tomou a Joás, filho de Acazias, furtando-o dentre os filhos do rei, aos quais matavam, e o pôs com a sua ama na câmara dos leitos; assim Jeosabeate, filha do rei Jeorão, mulher do sacerdote Joiada (porque era irmã de Acazias), o escondeu de Atalia, de modo que ela não o matou.

Mas Jeosabeate, filha do rei, tomou Joás, filho de Acazias, e o furtou dentre os filhos do rei, que estavam para ser mortos, e o pôs com a sua ama na câmara dos leitos. Assim Jeosabeate, filha do rei Jeorão, mulher do sacerdote Jeoiada e irmã de Acazias, o escondeu de Atalia, de modo que ela não o matou.
